Our last bus tour of the cruise started in Leith and Edinburgh and included a quick jaunt to a small village to view a couple of famous bridges and to Edinburgh Castle to enjoy a grand panoramic view of the city of Edinburgh after which we were dropped off at Charolet Square in Edinburgh. Edinburgh Castle was absolutely stunning and appears as if in a fairy tale perched atop a solid crag formed from an extinct volcano.

Edinburgh is a very beautiful city with its medieval-like architecture and row houses which go on street after street after street. The city is filled with deep green forests that spring up in valleys woven between the many, many castles, churches, statues, and temples. The deep wooded areas add intrigue and mystery.
