To me this port of call was the most amazing of all we have seen on this trip. I felt as if we were walking through history every turn we made.

We had absolutely beautiful weather, the best of our entire cruise. It was a perfect day, blue sky, low seventies, to spend taking in the enchanting shops and walking the cobblestone streets. There was a concert festival going on in the city today. We enjoyed sitting on the grass in the park where the concert was set up listening to the music. Afterwards, in between shopping (so many shops to choose from) we found an outdoor restaurant called Cafe Hub where we enjoyed a leisurely lunch as we mingled with the locals in the warm sun.

We missed trivia and Bingo today since we didn't return from the magical kingdom of Edinburgh until right before dinner.

Part of today's festival was a fireworks show. Even though today's raising of the gangway is 12:30 AM and we could have enjoyed the fireworks in Edinburgh itself we chose the safety and security of being onboard to watch them from the top deck of the ship.

Before retiring we enjoyed the Filipino Crew Show at 11:15. Another very enjoyable, refreshing show!

Tomorrow we will be at sea the entire day. There are two Bingo games, one to win a cruise, the other a grand jackpot of over $1000. You can be sure all four of us plan to be there for both!

And we will be packing our suitcases. We reach Amsterdam at 7:00 AM Tuesday.
