The first two days of our cruise adventure felt like one since we were awake from 7:00 in the morning Monday until 9:00 Tuesday night. None of us had more than a couple of short cat naps during this long stretch of time.

When we sat down for our first on-board dinner Tuesday night all four of us, Dorothy, Jean, Robert and I, commented how we did not feel very weary challenged. The jet lag hadn't really hit us. It was after dinner, during the Welcome Aboard presentation when it hit. We were all nodding as soon as the cruise director began to speak.

The nonstop flight to Amsterdam was a long, long one.
