After hiking back up from the beachfront we toured the Skaill House, a Lairds' house, built for Bishop George Graham in the 1620s. We were not allowed to take pictures being told people in the past have taken pictures of valuable items only to have them stolen. Our bus tour then took us back to Kirkwall stopping on the way to view the Ring of Brodgar, stones placed in a huge circle every six degrees. There is evidence these stones were part of burial ceremonies. In Kirkwall, after walking through the shopping area, we explored the Bishop's and Earl's Palaces built by Rognvald for Bishop William of Old. We also went through the museum which was free as are all museums in Scotland. Back onboard, Robert went to trivia and bingo without me. I enjoyed a nap instead. Robert came back with $65 having won black out Bingo. No winning of trivia but close what with a three way tie. After tonight's showtime, a solo comedy act starring Tom Murphy which wasn't really that good, we called it a day. Tomorrow we arrive in Invergordon, Scotland. We are looking forward to spotting Nessie!
