Our tender to shore this morning was
a 500 passenger Mersey Ferry called the Royal Iris. From there
we climbed on a bus to go around to Beatles spots of interest.
We saw The Cavern Club where it all began, the Cavern Wall
of Fame featuring all the artists who have graced The Cavern
Club and the Record Wall of Fame which is dedicated to all Liverpool
artists who have had Number 1 hits.
I posed with the Eleanor Rigby Statue, the sad figure
in the Beatles famous song dedicated to "All the Lonely People."
We stopped to have our picture taken on Penny Lane and at Strawberry
Field. Following a quick drive by and one visit to the homes
of different Beatles, we |
